The Biblical Ruth is the master of CHOOSING JUDAISM! She reminds us that being Jewish is just so much fun. Our youngest of friends (2-8 years old) are invited to this Shavuot celebration with a focus on demonstrating pride in being part of our grand Jewish family. Pizza and… ICE CREAM to follow in honour of Shavuot.
Typically we wear our formal attire for Shabbat. Tonight we get to dawn costumes and in particular masks. Our youngest of friends (ages 2-8) are invited to join Rabbi Daniel and Student Cantor Ilana for a Purim AND Shabbat celebration. There will be songs, stories, games and of course hamantaschen. Oh, and pizza for dinner too!
Traditionally at Passover time we tell the story of the ancient Israelites travelling from slavery to freedom on the road to the Promised Land. Attuned to our own journeys, we will have the opportunity to temporarily say goodbye to our facility and look forward to an exciting hello in the near future in our renewed building. Our youngest of friends are invited to join Rabbi Daniel for songs, stories, games. Pizza dinner to follow.
