Here are two current volunteer opportunities needed now:

Communications Committee Chair

Volunteer Job outline – to convene a talented team of staff and volunteers who manage and contribute to Temple’s website, Facebook Page, YouTube channel, Weekly Update emails and Bulletins, coverage of our stories internally and in the larger community and much more.

Skills/Knowledge – general knowledge of Temple, communications skills (written, oral), committee skills (group collaboration).

Time involved – monthly meeting to plan, share and problem solve. Annual report. Supervisor – Close collaboration with the Executive Director; executive liaison with the President.

Temple Photo Coordinator

Volunteer Job outline – to solicit, collect and manage a collection of current Temple photos, short film and audio clips for enriching Temple communications such as web site, Weekly Update, Bulletins, etc.

Skills/Knowledge – photography, communications, photo editing, organizing

Time involved – this job has never been undertaken so time commitment unknown. Guessing initial set up of up to a week’s work, then ongoing of several hours weekly. Helpful to participate in Communications Team meetings monthly.

Supervisor: Chair of Communications Committee (president until appointed). Close collaboration with the Executive Director.

Temple Israel volunteers sew masks for members in need
