Chanukah Kabbalat Shabbat & Pot Luck Dinner
Grand Chanukah Celebration (5:30) – Hooray for Chanukah! Let’s gather together as an extended family for our 8 day Festival of Lights. Our TIRS students have prepared a medley of Chanukah music for the occasion. Bring dinner to share, we’ll provide the latkes.
Student Cantor Ilana Mulcahy at Temple
We’re thrilled to continue to host Student Cantor Mulcahy for her monthly visits from New Jersey. Warm up your voices and come join these special Shabbat weekends
Family Fun
Winter’s arrival means Chanukah is almost here. Let’s get prepared with song, stories and love focused on our Festival of Lights. Our youngest of friends (ages 2-8) will parade around like brave Maccabees, explore the concept of miracles, and of course we’ll save room for yummy treats fried in oil. Pizza dinner to follow.
Drag Queen Story Time
5:30 – Drag Queen Story Time with Tanya King for our youngest of friends.
Tanya is an Ottawa drag queen and a proud trans woman on the autism spectrum who uses her platform to uplift and empower her community.
