It is with great pride that we celebrate the important milestone of Israel’s 75^th birthday. Though our joy is tempered as we also recognize that these have been difficult months. Israel’s borders have been threatened on all sides and anti-Israel sentiments are rampant. Further, we have witnessed the current government moving away from some core values of democracy and religious pluralism. We’re delighted to welcome Andrea Freeman, President and CEO of Jewish Federation of Ottawa in conversation with Rabbi Daniel Mikelberg for a candid conversation about serving as Jewish leaders and advocates for Israel in these complicated times.
