Using Zoom

You do not need to setup an account prior to this meeting, simply click on the following link tomorrow morning to connect to the meeting: (add link)
It will prompt a few ‘pop-up’ messages, simply click ‘run’, then ‘enable video’. You should then be connected within a matter of minutes and see the other participants.
Best Practices:
Upon connecting to the meeting, please mute your microphone. You may do so by clicking on the microphone icon at the bottom left of your meeting window. A red bar across the icon means that it is deactivated. Please only activate your microphone when you are speaking – to filter possible background noises.
Please enable your camera, also at the bottom left of your screen – for all of us to see you. (you may also select a ‘virtual background’ by clicking on the arrow next to the video icon!)
Adjust your view – for your viewing enjoyment, click on ‘Gallery’ at the top right corner of your meeting screen to select the option to see everyone (gallery view) or a bigger screen of the person speaking (speaker’s view).
And most importantly – interact! To ensure a bit of order during the meeting, please indicate your intention to speak. To do so, click on ‘Participants’ at the bottom center of your meeting screen. This will bring up a list of all participants on the right side of your screen. You may then indicate your desire to speak by clicking on the button ‘raise your hand’. A little blue hand icon will appear next to your name – indicating to the host that you wish to speak.
Looking forward to seeing you all virtually!
