Anniversary Commemorative Shabbat Service

On June 10th as we devoted a Shabbat service to remembering, reflecting and reveling! Our service was enhanced by our 50th Anniversary Choir made up of both past and present choir members.
October 2016 marked the beginning of Temple Israel’s 50th Anniversary Year. Throughout the year we had many wonderful events to help us celebrate.

Concert by Josh Dolgin (aka socalled) – kickoff to Temple’s 50th Anniversary year

Josh Dolgin (aka socalled)Our kickoff began with a lively concert at Temple Israel on October 15, 2016. TI’s own Klezmer and Yiddish recording artist Josh Dolgin, aka socalled thrilled us with his music and humour. The evening began with havdalah led by our youth. The sold out concert was hosted by CBC radio personalities Alan Neal and Laurence Wall.
